The objective of the Bulgarian Ski Federation is to support the ski sport, and especially - the racing scene (both on a Bulgarian and on an international level). It selects the national teams, organises the Bulgarian Skiing Championships, and stipulates the selectioncriteria for world championships. It supports competition alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, ski-jumping athletes and snowboarders and takes care of the administrative part of the competitions. And last but not least, it is the only Bulgarian organization - member of the FIS ( Fédération International de Ski ).
