The Nordic Combination is being extended by THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SEASON!
NORDIC COMBINED. Just like the FOUR HILLS TOURNAMENT for ski jumpers and the TOUR DE SKI for cross-country skiers, now there’s also the NORDIC COMBINED TRIPLE. We are incredibly proud to announce that the highlight of the season will have its premiere here in Seefeld from 17th to 19th January 2014 and continue to take place here over the next five years. It is an honour, and at the same time a challenge, that we’re delighted to take on.
The competition schedule
On Friday, January 17th:
Individual event, world cup - one jump and 5 km cross-country skiing
On Saturday, January 18th:
Individual event, world cup - one jump and 10 km cross-country skiing
At the grand finale on Sunday, January 19th:
Taking with them the accumulated time penalties from Friday and Saturday, the best 30 athletes take part in two jumps followed by 15 km of cross-country skiing.
The athlete that crosses the finishing line first is the overall winner of the NORDIC COMBINED TRIPLE Seefeld. He receives double prize money, double world cup points and a special bonus.
