Jacobellis and take the lead in the discipline standings
BAD GASTEIN, Austria — Lindsey Jacobellis of the United States won a World Cup snowboardcross on Sunday to take the lead in the discipline standings, and Damon Hayler of Australia won the men's event. Jacobellis earned her second victory of the season and 16th overall by defeating Dominique Maltais of Canada, Zoe Gillings of Britain and Alexandra Jekova of Bulgaria in the women's final.

The 23-year-old American leads in the discipline standings, ahead of Sandra Frei of Switzerland, and is second in the overall standings behind Doris Guenther of Austria.

The 32-year-old Hayler beat Markus Schairer of Austria, Mike Robertson of Canada and Graham Watanabe of the United States in the final for his first World Cup title.
Schairer leads the discipline standings ahead of Stian Sivertzen of Norway and Seth Wescott of the United States.
Siegfried Grabner of Austria stayed atop the overall standings.
The next World Cup snowboardcross is scheduled for Cypress, Canada, on Feb. 12-15.
