СКИ БЯГАНЕ, Вал Ди Фиеме, Италия. Норвегия-1 спечели мъжката щафета на 4х10 км от състезанията по ски-бягане в италианския зимен курорт Вал ди Фиеме, пети кръг от Световната купа. “Викингите” пресякоха финалната линия с време 1:34:07,01 ч., но победителят бе определен с фотофиниш, тъй като и първия отбор на Италия записа същото време. Драма имаше и в разпределението на 3-4-о място, където Франция също с фотофиниш изпревари Русия-1 – 1:34:07,6 ч. В женската щафета на 4х5 км победата извоюва Русия с резултат 51:23,8 мин. Второ място зае отборът на Германия (51:25,2 мин), а трето – Норвегия (51:41,0 мин).
Русия спечели щафетата за жени
СКИ БЯГАНЕ, Вал д'Феме (Италия). Русия спечели щафетата на 4 по 5 км за Световната купа по ски-бягане при жените. Куркина, Баранова-Масалкина, Медведева-Абрузова и Чепалова финишираха за 51:23,8 минути. На второ място на 1,4 секунди остана квартетът на Германия, а трети на 17,2 секунди е Норвегия.

Teichmann, Bjorgen Win Cross-Country Races
TESERO, Italy - Germany's Axel Teichmann, the cross-country World Cup leader, won a double pursuit event Saturday despite tangling with competitors late in the 30-kilometer race. Norway's Marit Bjorgen, the women's World Cup leader, took the 15-kilometer race.
Teichmann was forced to stop briefly not long after the 28-kilometer mark but won in 1 hour, 13 minutes, 14 seconds. Countryman Jens Filbrich was second, 0.7 seconds behind. France's Vincent Vittoz was third, 0.8 seconds back.
Teichmann increased his lead in the overall standings to 383 points. Vittoz and Vassili Rotchev of Russia are tied for second at 198.
In double pursuit, skiers switch from classic style to freestyle halfway through the race and change skis.
Bjorgen won her race in 39 minutes, 22.7 seconds, beating Estonia's Kristina Smigun by a second in a sprint finish. Defending World Cup champion Gabrielle Paruzzi of Italy was third, 7.6 seconds back.
Bjorgen leads the standings with 510 points, followed by Smigun at 340.

Пета победа на финландеца Ахонен в ски скока
СКИ СКОК, Харахов, Чехия. Финландецът Яне Ахонен спечели днес второто състезание по ски-скокове в чешкия зимен център Харахов, валидно за Световната купа, и записа пета победа в шест старта от началото на сезона.
Ахонен, който в квалификациите постигна нов рекорд на шанцата – 145,5 метра, триумфира с общ сбор от 288,8 точки и скокове от 140 и 141 метра. Носителят на Световната купа изпревари норвежеца Роар Льокелсой (287,3 точки, 138 и 140,5 метра), а представителят на домакините Якуб Янда, който водеше след първия скок, се смъкна на трето място за голямо разочарование на публиката (284,2 точки, 140 и 136,5 метра).
Яне Яхонен, който вчера загуби битката срещу поляка Адам Малиш, затвърди първото си място в генералното класиране за Световната купа с актив от 580 точки.

Finland's Ahonen Finally Loses in Ski Jump
HARRACHOV, Czech Republic - Finland's Janne Ahonen was finally beaten in a World Cup ski jump this season, finishing second to Poland's Adam Malysz on Saturday.
Ahonen won the first four meets — two in Finland and two in Norway — and still comfortably leads the standings.
Germany's Georg Spath was third. Clint Jones of the United States was 27th.
Malysz, the 2003 World Cup champion, won for the 25th time in his World Cup career. He jumped 143 meters in the first round on the K125 hill and 136 in the second for 284.2 points.
Ahonen had 279.0 points with leaps of 141 and 136.5 meters. Spath totaled 278.8 points after jumps of 135 and 141 meters.
Ahonen leads the standings with 480 points. Jakub Janda of the Czech Republic finished fourth and is second in the standings with 248 points. Martin Hollwarth of Austria, who was ninth Saturday, is third at 237. Malysz is eighth at 176.
