June 25-26, 2005, Monte Kaolino, Germany. The Bulgarian performance in the anniversary colourful Sandboarding World Championship in Monte Kaolino (Germany) passed all believes.

Boyan Grebentcharski became world champion in the parallel slalom for record-breaking 4-th time (2002-2005). Alexandra Jekova won the first world title in the women’s sandboardercross and the juvenile parallel slalom. In a perfect harmony, Boyan and Alexandra dominated impetuously in the tandemsandrace.
In the tandem racing Bobo and Sani took the first place 0.08s ahead of the best German couple
The Monte Kaolino is the biggest dune giant in Europe. The climate there is specific – warmer, more stifling, nearly tropic.Through the influence of the weather for many years, the sand behaves like a huge water reservoir.
For the appropriate reconciliation, there is an open-air swimming pool. Sand lying surfaces make it to a special relaxing zone. The Monte Kaolino represents an unique location for the boarders who like riding on sand.
Later in the evening was held the Sandbordercross on artificially lighted sand slope

Lately, the Sandboarding WCH competition gains great interest in Germany, where every year it gathers more that 15 000 spectators that follow the attractive events represented in 6 independent disciplines – parallel slalom, Sandboardercross (snowboard-cross on sand), Tandemsandrace (giant slalom where two competitors race on one board), Sandslopestyle, Sandwaterslide and Wakeboarding. This year the Sandslopestyle contest was introduced for the first time.

Alexandra classified first in the juvenile race (under 18 years) and 4-th in the women’s parallel slalom
Over 100 men and 50 women from Europe, Africa and America took part in the World Championship. Bojan Grebentcharski (Bobo) and Alexandra Jekova (Sani) passed over very serious training for one week, actuated by the Bulgarian national snowboard coach Viktor Jekov.
