Just 10 days left until the most significant Bulgarian roller ski race
ROLLER SKI. Organizers of the international competition "SIVEN Roller Ski Cup" invite those who wish to participate in the 17th edition of the race, which this year will be held on August 21st, 2012 (Tuesday) by the traditional route from Youndola to Belmeken in the Rila Mountains, Bulgaria.
As every year the competition which is organized by the SIVEN company, Velingrad Municipality, NSC "Belmeken" and Bulgarian Ski Federation will be able to engage young and old, professionals and amateurs, divided into age groups according to the ordinance.
The last year winner became world vice-champion Maxim Vilegzhanin from Russia, first place in the ladies category won the world champion in biathlon from Pyonchang 2009 Anna Buligina (Tyumen team - Russia) and among those men and women were much more elite athletes from Russia, Ukraine and others.
The start will be from Youndola for men, from Kurtovo for ladies and from Belmeken dam for the rest of the competitors. The finale will be all the yard in front of the main building of NSC Belmeken. For men, the distance is 19 km, for women and adolescents - 9km and for everyone else - 5km.
This year for the first time race will be measured with modern timing system with transponders provided by InfoSport. All competitors will be with chips (transponders) to detect the exact time of the final, and for men there will be two intermediate controls.
Furthermore, due to significant interest from sponsors, organizers will provide many awards for winners in different age groups, and energy drinks, supplements and water for all participants.
Much of the sponsors will have tents located at the finish zone which also advertise their products, will offer a large discount for spectators and participants.
Some of the sponsors' tents at the finish area will be:
- SLS, representative of the Mizuno;
- Craft;
- PEAK;
- Shark energy drinks
- For all spectators and participants will have a big discount for bicycles„S-MAX” and products of the „SIVEN”.
In the prize fund will be included SIVEN, Mizuno, Craft, Number One, PEAK, ÑÊÈ&ÁÎÐÄ magazine, etc.
