A large dry ski slope will be available nearby tubing track very soon
One of the best and most renowned ski resorts in Eastern Europe, Bansko in Bulgaria, opened the first summer tubing track in early September 2012. This flexible tube track is 100m long and has three curves. With a conveyor belt, the drivers are carried with the tubes to the start. Skitrax World provided the technology for the construction of curves and straight lines of environmentally friendly track.
World Skitrax delivered the technology and planning for the construction of curves and straight lines for an environmentally friendly wood construction and given the rapid Skitrax SP plastic mats, which are fitted together and fastened to the wooden structure. Together with the new HDPE tubes (polyethylene base) and the fast Skitrax SP (polyethylene base), we facing a very save and fast Tubing track, which is operating even very well at low inclination angle.
At the end of the track, the tube will stop automatically due to slowly red Skitrax HA. This pure summer tube track will be open from May to October every year.
Incidentally, they're working on building a large, nearly 3000 square meters dry ski slope with Skitrax FA. More details are coming soon.
