There is still no indication of what caused her problem, but US star Lindsey Vonn has been released from the hospital and is resting at home.
According to an email from her agent Kay Lewis: "Lindsey is feeling much better today and has been released from the hospital. She is resting comfortably at home. Doctors are still working to determine what specifically was the cause of her illness but thankfully she has responded well to their treatment. We do not know when she will be able to return to the mountain and will update as her health improves.”
Vonn's recovery will be closely monitored. She is due to race at Aspen Nov. 24 and 25th. Her first speed races are scheduled for Lake Louise, Alberta Nov. 30 with training runs set for Nov. 27.

Vonn hospitalized
Lindsey Vonn remained hospitalized in Colorado on Tuesday with "severe intestinal pain" that has been affecting her for the past two weeks, reports The Associated Press.
Vonn's spokesman, Lewis Kay, wrote in an email, "Lindsey will be spend a second night in the hospital. She is resting comfortably and awaiting test results."
Vonn's ski technician, Heinz Haemmerle, told the AP that this isn't the first time the racer has gone to the hospital in Vail.
Haemmerle, who prepares Vonn's Head skis and has been on hand in Colorado awaiting her recovery, said that Vonn hasn't trained since going out in the second run of the season-opening giant slalom Oct. 27 in Soelden, Austria.
"She told me she feels bad and has pain all over her body and that her bones are hurting. ... She's been (to the hospital) two or three times. This is the first time she's stayed overnight," Haemmerle said in a telephone interview. "The coaches also don't know. First they told me we would train again Monday, then Wednesday, now the end of the week."
Vonn and teammate Julia Mancuso had elected to skip last weekend's slalom races in Levi Finland in favor of getting training for the Aspen World Cups coming up Nov. 24-25. She raced in the opener, a GS at Soelden, Austria Oct. 27, but failed to complete both runs. She won that race last season.
Vonn is the defending World Cup overall, downhill, super G and combined champion.
