SKI JUMPING, COC-L. The ladies started the new season with a Continental Cup on Tuesday. And the opening competition in Szczyrk (POL) was won by Coline Mattel.
The 15-year-old Junior World Champion from France showed jumps on 103.5 m and 100.5 m and captured the victory with 238.4 points. "I'm very satisfied with my jumps today. I really like the hill and the organization of the competitions", said Mattel.
Katharina Althaus (GER)
Only one point behind the winner, Sara Takanashi from Japan, who was in the lead after the first round, finished second with 105 m and 98.5 m. "I think this was a really good start into the new season for me", told the only 14-year-old.
The third place went to Maja Vtic from Slovenia with a total of 236.8 points (104.5 m and 101 m). "I'm happy about my third place, but I know that my jumps can be better."

Behind Lisa Demetz (ITA) as fourth, followed four jumpers of the strong German team with Katharina Althaus (5th), Anna Rupprecht (6th), Ulrike Graessler (7th) and Melanie Faisst (8th).
