The third day of the FIS Rollerski World Cup included ladies’ and men’s 11,3 km uphill competition in Classical technique. Simone Paredi (ITA) and Anders Svanebo (SWE) were fighting hard all the way up. Paredi had more left in the tank and beat the Swedish by +3,2 sec. Svanebo’s compatriot Bill Impola claimed the third place with +37,8 sec margin.
On the ladies side Sweden’s Hanna Seppas scored second first place in Bad Peterstal. After her victory on Friday she was the quickest also in yesterday’s 11,3 km Uphill race. Seppas won with a clear gap of +26,7 sec ahead of Russian Natalia Zernova. Ksenia Konohova (RUS) finished third with

Solli and Pizzutto win sprint in Bad Peterstal
The World Cup continued in Germany with dramatic speed events on Saturday, 23 July.
Norwegian Guro Stroem Solli dominated second day of the FIS Rollerskiing World Cup program at Bad Peterstal. One of biggest favorites beat two Russians Anastasia Voronina and Evgenia Baliuk.
On the men’s side Italy’s Edoardo Folco Pizzuito crashed all the opponents. Fatih Yuksel brought second place to Turkey. Mirko Ceolan of Italy rounded out the podium.
World Cup program continues on Sunday with 11.3 km Uphill race.

Paredi and Seppas shine in Bad Peterstal
Italy's Simone Paredi and Sweden's Hanna Seppas won 6,8 km uphill race in Bad Peterstal. Paredi won in the time of 20:54.0 ahead of compatriot Sergio Bonaldi. Ivan Marchenkov of Russia claimed third place.
On the ladies' side Hanna Seppas was the quickest and beat in 26:05 Russia's Natalia Zernova by +9.7 sec. Monika Gyorgy of Romania finished third.

FIS Rollerskiing World Cup took place in Bad Peterstal, Germany this weekend
Three competition days are scheduled at the traditional host of the FIS Rollerlskiing World Cup in Bad Peterstal.
Most of 110 skiers from 11 countries arrived in the Bad Peterstal already on Wednesday and carried out the first training session with course inspection.
The opening race of the weekend; 6,8 km classic uphill competition starts today at 16:30. “The winner will have to be up there in about 23 minutes,” thinks chief of competition Stefan Harter. “FIS Rollerski World Championships is coming close and the World’s rollerskiing elite found its way to Bad Peterstal,” he explains.
The highlight of the competition program is scheduled on Saturday when the sprint free downtown Bad Peterstal is going to take place. The competition course is only 220 m long and spectators will be able to enjoy thrilling fights from the start to the finish. Start of the sprint competition is scheduled at 14:30.
Competition program will finish on Sunday with 12 km Free uphill race. All the top rollerskiing specialist will be at the start in Bad Peterstal. Hanna Seppas from Sweden and Italy's Simone Paredi are leading the Roller Ski World Cup ranking after 6 events (5 ind. and 1 team event).
Seppas has collected so far 269 points including one victory. Runner up on the ladies side is Guro Stroem Solli from Norway, just 25 points behind the leader while currently third ranked is Evgenia Baliuk from Russia.
The men's ranking Simone Paredi is dominating the World Cup and has a comfortable 62 points lead ahead of his country man Sergio Bonaldi. On third place is Alexander Denisov (RUS).
