The day started in "Serdica" room with a special press conference, including an informal breakfast for the representatives of Bulgarian medias, organized by the Austrian Trade Commission in Bulgaria and the Tyrolean Tourist Board - Tirol Werbung – the association, which presents the five Tyrolean glacier ski resorts: Sölden, Hintertux, Pitztal, Kaunertal and Stubai.
The presentations were made by each of the 5 glacier ski resorts and in addition – by the ski resorts Ischgl and SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser in Brixental. The hosts tried to present the novelties for the upcoming ski season and in the same time to serve traditional Tyrolean breakfast with local specialties, breads and pastries.

The Bulgarian media representatives enjoyed the short promotional video for the 5 major Tyrolean glaciers at the end of the press conference.
At 10:00 o’clock in "Triaditsa" hall began a workshop between all the Austrian participants and the Bulgarian tourism representatives. The meeting was organized by Feratel – an Austrian company for information services and know-how. It should be noted that during this edition of the Austrian-Bulgarian cooperation workshop the interest of both sides was extremely massive.
The Austrian side was represented by leaders and representatives of the Tyrolean Tourist Board; the glacier ski areas Pitstal, Kaunertal, Shtubai, Sölden, Tux (Hintertux), Zell am See - Kaprun, Dachstein; and the ski resorts Ischgl, Gastein, Bad Kleinkirchheim, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser in Brixental, Kals - Matrei, and Steiermark in Styria.
Stubai - Elisabeth Finger (Leitung Stubai Touristik BgA) and Alexandra Reinisch (Wintersport Tirol AG & Co Stubaier Bergbahnen KG)
Soelden - Christian Schnoeller (Oetztaler Gletcherbahn GmbH & Co KG)
Pitztal and Kaunertal - Stefan Richter (Pitztaler Gletcherbahn GmbH & CO KG, Kaunertaler Gletcherbahn GmbH & CO KG) and Gottfried Ennemoser-Hilger (Tourismusverband Pitztal)
Zell am See - Gabriele van der Boom (Grand Hotel Zell am See)
Zell am See - Christian Pfeffer (Zell am See - Kaprun Tourismus GmbH)
Interesting was the presence of the representative of Munich International Airport, for the first time at this forum. The logical reason, of course, was the proximity of the German Airport to a large number of the Austrian Alpine resorts.
Andreas Bauer (Munich Airport, Flughafen Munchen GmbH)
The Bulgarian representatives, visited the meeting, were from many travel agencies, including: Bulgarian VIP Travel, Marina Sport, Matchirski Sport, Smart Travel, Good Faith Air, New Travel Agency, Welburg, Pan Tour Bulgaria, Antea, "Po sveta i u nas", Favorit Att, Ibret Travel, Profi Travel, DSK Tours, Sofia Travel Holidays, Rad-Festa, MC Event, Allegro Tours, Diva Holidays, BTrendyBG, Usit Colors... From professional associations, only one representative of the National Association of Small and Medium Businesses attended today's forum.
The only professional medias for ski and board sports in Bulgaria WWW.SKI.BG and SKI&BOARD magazine were the only ones that covered the event. Traditionally, they also made their presentations in front of the Austrian participants at the forum. The highest quality of the both medias attracted great interest once again.
Hintertux - Sara Moser (Zillertaler Gletscherbahn GmbH & Co KG) and Elisabeth Kroell (Tourismusverband Tux-Finkenberg)
Bad Kleinkirchheim - Nina Gosch (Bad Kleinkirchheimer Tourismus Marketing GmbH)
Pitztal - Gottfried Ennemoser-Hilger (Tourismusverband Pitztal)
Elisabeth Kroell and Elisabeth Finger
Feratel Forum in Sofia demonstrated the increasing willingness and abilities of the Bulgarians for ski vacations and tourism in the Austrian Alps and the power of the Austrian tourist industry, which invests in such promotional events at all levels.
The lessons at the event should be learned by the Bulgarian State Administration and the private entrepreneurs in tourism. The next Austrian Tourism Forum will be held in the spring of 2012.
