FREESTYLE SKI. The Swiss celebrated a double victory in the fifth event in the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup 2011/12. In Les Contamines (FRA), Sanna Lüdi and Alex Fiva claimed the top spot. For both it was the 2nd World Cup victory in their careers and both are now leading the ski cross World Cup season rankings. In the ladies race, Lüdi was trailed by young Alizée Baron (FRA) who claimed her second World Cup podium in 2nd while veteran teammate Ophélie David completed the podium. Kathrin Müller (SUI) finished fourth. In the World Cup rankings, Lüdi leads with 389 points ahead of Canadian Kelsey Serwa, who is currently out due to a knee injury, with 276 points. David has 260 points in 3rd. Behind Alex Fiva Norwegian Didrik Bastian Juell took 2nd whilst Canadian Nik Zoricic took 3rd. Jonas Devouassoux of France finished 4th. Fiva leads the World Cup rankings with 295 points ahead of Canadian Brady Leman with 231 points and Russian Egor Korotkov with 209 points.
