International Ski Federation (FIS) President Gian-Franco Kasper told Bulgaria's Ski Chief Tseko Minev that the country stood a good chance to be elected for hosting the winter Olympics in 2014.
Minev's meeting with Kasper was arranged by skiing legend Marc Girardelli, who currently consults Bulgaria's national skiing teams.
The Bulgarian Ski Federation has already acquired eight quotas for the winter Olympics in Torino in 2006. Among the skiers there is also one snowboarder - Alexandra Zhekova.
