MOUNTAIN BIKE. From 3 to 6 of October, 2013 Bulgaria wil host one of the biggest mountain bike races in Europe. Both race disciplines - DH and 4X - of one of the most prestigious bike events will be held in Pamporovo resort. The expected number of competitors is more than 200 including various big names of the European mountain bike scene.

Race is open only for national team riders and will include the following categories - DHI MEN ELITE, DHI WOMEN ELITE, DHI JUNIOR MEN, DHI JUNIOR WOMEN, 4 -CROSS MEN, 4 -CROSS WOMEN.

The race will be kindly hosted by Pamporovo AD and the organization will be entrusted to Concept Creative and Bulgarian Cycling Union.

Last week  Pamporovo hosted the Balkan Mountain Bike Championship 2013 which involved more than 220 racers. On site during the event were the President and the Secretary of the Balkan Federation, who gave a good overall score for the organization and the cycling infrastructure of the resort.

For the first time in many years a Bulgarian National downhill and fourcross team will be formed.  

The competition is an exceptional recognition for our country and evidence that mountain biking in Bulgaria is one of the fastest growing sports and has a huge potential.

The battle for the European titles is expected to be really challenging and exciting, don't miss it!
