"Hello, summer was quite dynamic and short for me ... :) I am in Cardrona - New Zealand - my first camp on snow this season with my coach Victor Jekov. I participate in training camp, organized by the team of Australia with American, Swiss and French teams and the Norwegian boarder-cross team. Here are also ski-cross teams of Australia and Canada.

The course on which we train is built by one of the World Cup shapers - Anders Forsell, and in two weeks it had already twice changed as elements. Training track, park, pipe and slopes in Cardrona are prepared well and in good weather, we achieving excellent volume workout. Unfortunately the weather here is quite fragile and often we waste hours of training due to fog.

I feel good physically, testing new boards and working on perfecting new techniques for better control in high-speed courses.

New Zealand is very beautiful and untouched country and I am very happy to be able to train here with the best teams. In general, the other option for quality workouts during this period are Ushuaia and Chile, which are again on the other side of the world... The track here is a challenge and an opportunity to work on a whole range of techniques, unfortunately this year a little hard to understand with the mists :///

We live in a small town of Wanaka. Around the lake there are wonderful trails for biking and running, and well-equipped training hall, where we do an afternoon workout.
