In the season's fourth giant slalom, Swiss Daniel Albrecht captured his second win of the season and regained the leader's red bib in the event standings, as he won his worst Alpine World Cup classic in Alta Badia, ITA on Sunday.
Albrecht, the winner in the season opening GS in Sölden, moved up from second place after the opening run. Ivica Kostelic of Croatia, who was 12th after run #1, had a scintillating second run to surprise by claiming place second overall - his career best giant slalom result - while Austrian Hannes Reichelt claimed third.
