ALPINE SKI WORLD CUP. The cancelled men's downhill from Beaver Creek has now been rescheduled to Kvitfjell, on Friday 11th March 2010. Due to the full competition schedule before the World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, it was not possible to find a feasible date in December or January.
The organizers in Kvitfjell take over once more a World Cup race that was canceled somewhere else. The downhill will be held on the Olympic piste of 1994. A second downhill will take place on Saturday, followed by a super G on Sunday rounding out the race program.
