SKI CROSS. ALPE D’HUEZ, France -- Sanna Luedi of Switzerland earned her first World Cup victory in the a World Cup ski cross women's final Wednesday to top the ski cross standings. Canadian Marielle Thompson, from Whistler, B.C., was second and Andrea Limbacher of Austria finished third. World champion Kelsey Serwa of Kelowna, B.C., placed fourth. Luedi moved 13 points ahead of Serwa with the win. Ophelie David of France is third, 89 points off the pace.

Flip Flisar of Slovenia won the men's final for his first World Cup win. Canadian Christopher Del Bosco, a world champion from Montreal, was second and Lars Lewen of Sweden was third. Brady Leman of Calgary finished ninth but retained top spot, 18 points clear of Alex Fiva of Switzerland, who placed 18th.
