Norway dominates Sprint Relay
DUSSELDORF ( 23/10/2005 12:06 ) Norway dominates the Sprint Relay F that took place in Dusseldorf, Tor Arne Hetland and Eldar Roenning won the men's competition ahead of Sweden and the second Norwegian team. Marit Bjoergen and Hilde Pedersen dominated the Women's race and preceeded the second Norwegian Team and Russia.
Fotofinish says Larsson DUSSELDORF ( 22/10/2005 12:06 ) Peter Larsson of Sweden won the opening WC Sprint F that took place in Dusseldorf. He preceeded after the fotofinish Tor Arne Hetland of Norway, Thobias Fredriksson took the third position ahead of his teammate Fredrik Oestberg.
Bjoergen triumphs in Dusseldorf DUSSELDORF ( 22/10/2005 11:51 ) Defending WC champion Marit Bjoergen won the opening WC Sprint F taht took place in Dussseldorf. In the final act Norwegian skier, 25, preceeded Kaisa Saarinen, of Finland, Natalia Matveeva of Russia and Anna Dahlberg of Russia.
World Cup opening in Dusseldorf DUSSELDORF ( 20/10/2005 05:08 ) As the last year Cross Country World Cup will start on Saturday in Dusseldorf with Men and Women Sprint F. On Sunday will taka place the Sprint F Team races. In the Women's race Marit Bjoergen is the favourite to double in the World Cup, despite of her goal for the season is a Gold Medal at the Winter Olympic Games. Germans could dominate in men's races, Axel Teichmann will try to repeat the outstanding peformances as the last year.
