BISCHOFSHOFEN, Austria (AP) -- Wolfgang Loitzl of Austria won the Four Hills tournament Tuesday after winning his third straight World Cup event.
Loitzl had jumps of 142.5 and 141.5 meters for a total of 301.2 points to comfortably beat overall World Cup leader Simon Ammann of Switzerland, who had 284.4 points.
Dimitry Vassiliev of Russia took third with 279.2 points.
Loitzl, who turns 29 later this month but had not won an individual World Cup meet before his victory in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany last week, became the first Austrian to win the Four Hills tournament since Andreas Widhoelzl in 1999. He also won in Innsbruck on Sunday.
