SKI JUMPING. The Continental Cup continued this weekend with two competitions in Courchevel (FRA). The first event on Friday ended with a double victory for the Czech team. Former 4-Hills-Tournament and overall World Cup winner Jakub Janda won with jumps of 130 m and 118 m (244.9 points).
Only 0.6 points behind Antonin Hajek captured the second place. Germany's Danny Queck finished third with 243.8 points.
A very good performance was also shown by the only 17-year-old Bulgarian Vladimir Zografski who was fourth and achieved the best COC result of his career.

The two Czech athletes also finished on top in the second event. Jakub Janda was the best with 124 m and 128.5 m (254.5 points), he was followed again by Antonin Hajek who reached a total of 243.3 points (122.5 m / 125.5 m).
The third place went to Rok Zima, who was in the lead after the first round, with 232.3 points and 127 m and 116.5 m. With that, the 21-year-old from Slovenia achieved his first ever podium finish in the Continental Cup.
The next competitions of the COC will take place in Lillehammer (NOR) on September 11th and 12th.
