SKI JUMPING, COC-M. The hosting team could capture a double victory in the second Continental Cup competition in Kranj. Jure Sinkovec was only 14th after the first round, but in the final he showed the longest jump of the day with 117 m and won with a total of 259.6 points. So he could celebrate his first victory in the COC since more than three years on his 26th birthday.
The second place went to his teammate Peter Prevc with 258.1 points and jumps on 104.5 m and 110 m.
Poland's Grzegorz Mietus (103.5 m and 108.5 m) and Vladimir Zografski from Bulgaria (107 m and 105 m) shared the third place with 251.6 points.
Behind Aleksander Zniszczol (5th) and Stefan Kraft (6th), Alexander Sardyko from Russia achieved his by far best result in the Continental Cup so far as seventh. He was followed by Saturday's winner Robert Kranjec.
Norwegian Kenneth Gangnes was in the lead after the first round, but with only 97.5 m in the final round he came in only tenth overall.
