WORLD SNOW DAY. Following the success of World Snow Day 2019, FIS confirms that a 9th edition of World Snow Day will take place 19th January 2020.
World Snow Day 2020 will be an important year for the programme as goals for this period will be measured. So far the programme has achieved 3 of the 5 set goals with the primary goal of number of events remaining open. According to the World Snow Day Event Planning Manual the programme has said it must have an average of 500 events by World Snow Day 2020. Currently the average stands at 494 meaning the programme must see 519 events in 2020.
FIS president Gian Franco Kasper said "The goals are entirely realistic. We have seen the event exceed well over 500 events in one edition, we will be looking to do this again in 2020.”
To assist with planning Organisers of the 9th edition of World Snow Day can expect all the same support features. These include Event Planning materials, Organiser Care Packages and much more.
